Brama goes deeper on 28th March, inviting three icons of the underground queer scene to join our resident Sam PV. Headlining is Detroit's own Mike Servito. To those who know, Mike is a modern US legend - a longtime resident of The Bunker, and one of the best record spinners in the game. His career has been defined by a steady rise, taking time to perfect a jacking style that’s equal parts house, acid and techno. It’s a sound that pays tribute to Servito’s Detroit roots, but Mike is no heritage act. He’s the real deal. If you want to know what’s up in American dance music today, then look no further. He’s joined by Ciel, a DJ we’ve been waiting to host since she played an electrifying, festival-defining set at Dimensions last year. To some, that was their first introduction to Cindy Li, a Toronto-based artist who’s been quietly honing her craft for over a decade. On EPs for Naff, !K7 and her own Parallel Minds, she’s crafted a sound at once banging and groovy; unmistakably prog, but with a house sensibility. Finally we invite a DJ close to our hearts, Joe Delon. A regular at both Pumping Velvet and The Pickle Factory, he’s been part of the Brama family since the beginning. To us he’s one of the most interesting voices in our scene - a genre-bending DJ who connects the dots in a way few can. And a writer whose always thoughtful, and sometimes delightfully catty Substack has become required reading. Joe plays an extended warmup with Brama’s Sam PV, rounding out a gorgeous lineup in 90’s wooden room. Meanwhile on our new & improved boat, two excellent DJs from the tasteful queer scene flex their downtempo muscles - Darwin Stapel, and Damiana. Hosted by our Italian diva Loren Dell'Arco.
