DVS1 stands out as one of the few modern DJs still fully rooted in the craft, obsessed with sound quality above everything else. A lifer from the Midwestern warehouse era, he grew up building, tuning, and hauling rigs long before anyone knew his name. That discipline; the uncompromising ethos of the Midwest rave culture, is still at the core of everything he does today. He treats volume, pressure, and space like instruments, bending the room to the music rather than the other way around. For this night, we’re meeting him on his terms: a warehouse fitted with a custom Hennessey Sound Design installation, world-class subs, and a layout built to translate exactly what he does; body music engineered for people who want to feel everything, not just hear it.
