In BECOMING RED, a familiar fairy tale is stripped of its moral and reborn as a modern myth. Red has done everything she was told. She stayed in the forest. She loved who she was meant to love. She followed the rules meant to keep her safe. And yet—something inside her remains starving. Told through powerful live music, intimate narration, aerial artistry, and evocative staging, BECOMING RED follows Red’s awakening as she confronts desire, guilt, fear, and the hunger for a life fully lived. As the voices of the forest close in—the Mother, the Wolf, and the Woodsman—Red must decide whether safety is worth the cost of silencing herself.
