Deep Dish returns to New York on April 11th, 2026 for a special night at 99 Scott. With Dubfire as one half of the duo, Deep Dish stands among the most influential acts to come out of the U.S. dance music scene. Emerging from Washington, D.C., Ali “Dubfire” Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi rose to worldwide recognition with their 1998 album Junk Science—a release that expanded the boundaries of house and techno with its blend of deep grooves, Chicago-inspired rhythms, soul-leaning textures, and cinematic atmospheres. The album delivered enduring tracks like “The Future of the Future (Stay Gold)” with Tracey Thorn and “Stranded,” while their remix work for Madonna, Janet Jackson, Gabrielle, and Dido set new standards for dance reinterpretations. Their Grammy-winning remix of Dido’s “Thank You” remains one of the most celebrated remixes of its era. Following their 2006 split, both artists built standout solo careers—Dubfire especially becoming a key figure in techno. Their reunion in 2014 reignited the Deep Dish legacy, leading to new releases and sought-after DJ sets around the world. Their 99 Scott date offers an intimate chance to experience Deep Dish’s full spectrum: deep, atmospheric, groove-led selections paired with the precision and musicality that have defined their legacy for over two decades. For long-time house heads and new fans alike, this night is set to be a highlight of the spring calendar.
