Hosted by DJ and musician Steen, Open Decks is a creative and fun space where DJs can hang and share their house and techno music live. Hear your favorite or original tracks on Silo's front room sound system, a custom 15,000 watt Danley powerhouse. If you want to play, talk to Steen to sign up. Sign-up is in person at the event only, slots are 12 minutes. The first 3 DJ's play first-come-first-spin. Then we'll select names randomly from the sign-up list throughout the night. You'll get a half hour notice before your set time. This is to ensure that DJ's who can't make the initial sign up right at 8pm still get a chance to play. Free with advance RSVP. Question? His DJ career kicked off at Lizdas in Kaunas, Lithuania, and it swiftly led him to become one of Lithuania’s most beloved and charismatic DJs. With his long-standing radio residency at Radio Vilnius, he’s graced clubs and stations across Europe, notably Renate and Refuge Worldwide (DE). Dubbed as an “untapped gem of New York City’s nightlife”, be sure to expect a seamless blend of Chicago and New York House, the dynamic beats of the Ballroom scene, and everything in between when it comes to Dane's sets.
