Unless you are a Native American, you are an immigrant in the United States. Migration is a beautiful thing, and it's part of the life cycle of nearly every animal on earth. As Catz we understand this, but sometimes humans can get caught up in ways of thinking that go against nature. Some humans believe that they are special because they were an immigrant before the other immigrants. Others say "do it the legal way," even though their families came here before there was a "legal way." Some even think they are better than other humans because of their pigment. As Catz, we know it's all about the love you show - no matter where you are from, how you got here, what you look like or who you love. We are pleased to announce our next event - ICEBREAKERS - in collaboration with Breakeven Productions. All of the proceeds for this event will be going towards Colorado Immigrants Rights Coalition for legal funds to combat the state sponsored terrorism being used against our immigrant and minority communities. As we continue to witness indiscriminate violence and cruelty inflicted upon our friends and neighbors, it's increasingly important that we lean into community and express ourselves through music, art, movement and dance. We have made a sliding scale for tickets so you can donate at a level that is comfortable for you while helping us build a bridge to a better future for everyone.
