Third Floor Sounds introduces Foundations, a new series dedicated to honoring the DJs who helped shape the culture we’re dancing in today. Foundations is about lineage — spotlighting veteran selectors whose contributions run deep, while creating space for newer voices to share the floor and carry the sound forward. For the inaugural edition, we welcome Analog Soul, the longtime NYC duo whose approach to house and techno is grounded in deep musical knowledge, storytelling, and decades of lived experience behind the decks. From their roots in record digging and early radio to dance floors across New York and beyond, Analog Soul represent a true throughline between generations of underground dance music. The night is rounded out by Third Floor Sounds founder TEE EM DEE and DJ Shannon, bringing complementary energy and perspective while keeping the focus on flow, intention, and the room as a shared space. Hosted at H0L0, a staple of New York’s house and dance music ecosystem, Foundations begins as it intends to continue — rooted, thoughtful, and built for dancers who care about where the music comes from, not just where it’s going.
