ARTISTS IN FOCUS Born to a Swiss-Nigerian family and raised in the South of France, LAOLU weaves a rich tapestry of West African heritage and European electronic precision. Raised on Fela Kuti and classical saxophone, shaped by Detroit techno and Chicago house, he found his voice where cultures collide.

 After years of refining his craft in the Swiss techno scene, he found his signature voice by merging his roots with cutting-edge electronics, a breakthrough that led to the 2015 mega-hit remix of Dela Sosimi’s “Too Much Information”. Yet he never chased the spotlight. 

Laolu’s music shuns the predictable, instead offering deep, expansive grooves that prioritize the "soul" of the dancefloor over Instagram moments. Whether he is collaborating with South African talent or New York vocalists, his sets are a masterclass in rhythm, history, and pure, unadulterated feeling. GARLA is a Marseille-born DJ and producer shaping a refined blend of deep and melodic electronic music, infused at times with Afro and tech house elements. A member of Azzur, he has built steady momentum through releases such as “If U Ever” on Maccabi House and “Light Down” on Tortuga, alongside collaborations with Meloko and projects with Azzur and Rendez-Vous. He has shared lineups with artists including Kasango, Birds of Mind, Sasson, Laolu, Nitefreak, and Ahmed Spins. Notable appearances include Cabane des Amis & Barta in Marseille, Miirage in Montpellier, Sunday in Nîmes, Meraki in Avignon, and Taboo in Paris, reinforcing his growing presence across the French electronic scene.
