Wakyin lands back in New York on January 31 for a special night at Knockdown Center, bringing his rapidly growing global momentum to one of the city’s most essential dance floors. Born from Dominican and Puerto Rican roots, Wakyin has built a signature sound that moves between reggaeton-driven percussion, Afro-Latin rhythms, and club-focused house—delivered with the kind of energy that turns sets into full-room moments. His breakout track “Fruta Fresca” helped catapult him into the spotlight, now surpassing 65 million streams on Spotify and continuing to spread across platforms worldwide.
