He first made a name for himself as a hip hop DJ and, a few years later, as a reggae and dancehall DJ in and around Eichsfeld (northern Thuringia). Since 2007, his musical focus has been on drum & bass. His party sets are usually varied in style and cover all areas of D&B. Gigs now range from clubs and parties in Rostock, Hamburg, Leipzig, Dresden, Jena, Erfurt, Chemnitz, and Plauen to the SonneMondSterne Festival. He has performed with artists such as Dirtyphonics, Friction, John B, Logistics, Aphrodite, Camo & Krooked, Generation Dub, Dillinja, Benny Page, and Simon Bassline Smith. One of the resident DJs at the SonneMondSterne Festival and Beat Gourmets (Leipzig). He is also co-founder and part of the Rock'n'Rule Entertainment team, which has shaped the party scene in northern Thuringia over the last 10 years. The top event was the Monkbreakz Festival Night, which featured many performances by well-known national and international artists. The latest project is the founding of the DnB crew SECTOR 8 with seven of his DJ colleagues. As the founder of Transmission Drum and Bass, established in 2014 in Las Vegas, Baracus has spent over a decade cultivating a movement rooted in pure bass energy. What began as a vision evolved into the longest running drum and bass night in Las Vegas — a monthly institution bringing together artists, heads, and new generations of ravers under one relentless sound. Behind the decks, Baracus Audio delivers controlled chaos — razor-sharp transitions, rolling percussion, cinematic tension, and devastating low-end pressure. His sets are immersive and intentional, balancing technical precision with instinctive crowd control. His reach extends beyond local stages, sharing lineups with World of Drum & Bass and making multiple appearances on Vibe FM’s Bass Nation. Baracus Audio also runs a clothing brand called Shadowheads, drawing influence from underground hip hop, graffiti culture, and drum and bass. The brand serves as a creative outlet for B.A., who designs artwork for both Transmission and Shadowheads — merging music, visual art, and street energy into a unified creative vision. When Baracus Audio isn’t behind the decks, you’ll likely find him running visuals, handling lighting, and keeping the vibe locked in. You might catch him on the mic as a part-time MC or behind the lens capturing the moment. A true multi-disciplinary creative, this is an artist who wears many hats — and wears them well.
